In the glamour of Bollywood, where love stories are larger than life, real-life romances often outshine the reel ones. The recent spate of star-studded weddings has left fans in a whirlwind of emotions. As I go through the pictures from Parineeti & Raghav’s wedding, I am all nostalgic about my multiple heartbreaks because of these Bollywood Weddings!

Sharing a few of them below. After all, who hasn’t chuckled at a teary-eyed fan jokingly cancelling their imaginary wedding venue bookings? So, grab your popcorn (and maybe a tissue), as we embark on this rollercoaster ride of love, laughter, and a few good-natured tears.

Ranbir and Alia – The Brahmastra Jodi

As the Bollywood power couple, Ranbir and Alia, tied the knot, the internet was flooded with a wave of emotions. Fans, who had been nurturing dreams of their own ‘happily ever after’ with these stars, expressed their heartbreak in the most hilarious ways. One fan quipped, “Only 28 guests were invited to the Ranbir-Alia marriage ceremony, isse zyada toh daant hain mere”. Another one joked Ranbir-Aliia invited only 28 bollywood guests for their wedding, kyuki bache hue toh sab ranbir ke ex hai”. These reactions, filled with ‘desi’ humour and wit, added a dash of laughter to the grand affair. 

The humour didn’t stop there. One fan, with a twinkle in their eye, said, “Ranbir-Alia ki shaadi ho gayi, ab toh mujhe bhi serious ho jaana chahiye life mein”. Another fan, showcasing their wit, commented, “Ranbir-Alia ki wedding mein mera invitation kyun nahi aaya? Shayad postman ko pata chal gaya ki woh mere liye heartbreak ka letter leke aaye hain”. Amidst the grandeur of the wedding, these light-hearted comments certainly added a dash of humour and kept the spirits high. After all, laughter is the best way to heal a broken heart, isn’t it?

PS: I hope their bedroom conversations aren’t as cheesy & childlike as the dialogues of Brahmastra. Imagine Ranbir Kapoor telling her, “tum mera button ho”. Well, I’ll leave it to your imagination now.

As the news of Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding broke out, fans who had been secretly nurturing dreams of their own ‘happily ever after’ with these stars, expressed their heartbreak in the most hilarious ways. One fan humorously lamented, “Ab hamari permanent booking ho gayi hai”. Another fan, showcasing their wit, commented, “Bhai abhi Siddharth ka copyright aayega post pr”. Yet another fan couldn’t help but express their shock and wrote, “Got a mini heart attack” upon seeing the wedding photos.

One fan humorously quipped, “Siddharth aur Kiara ki shaadi ho gayi, ab toh humein bhi ‘Shershaah’ banne ki tayari karni chahiye”. These reactions, filled with ‘desi’ humour and wit, added a dash of laughter to the grand affair. Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif: The Kaushal Connection

What a #VickKat Paristithi for all the fans! Vicky Katrina’s wedding has become a topic of discussion all over the world and has made everyone go crazy. You all know that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got married on December 9, 2023, at the lavish Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. But do you know how heartbroken some people are because of this wedding? Yes, we are talking about those people who had a crush on Vicky or Katrina and are now venting their frustration on social media. One fan commented, “Vicky Katrina ki shaadi mein maine itna roya ki aankhon se paani hi nahi, khoon nikla. Mera dil toot gaya hai. Ab toh bas unki movies dekh kar rona hi hai. #Victrina #Devastated”

Ali and Richa: From Fukrey to Forever

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are finally married, or should we say, finally celebrating their marriage. The couple had secretly registered their wedding in 2020 but kept it under wraps until now. After having some pre-wedding ceremonies in Delhi and Lucknow, they decided to throw a grand reception party for their friends and family in Mumbai.

Some of their fans, who had a crush on them, took to social media to express their disappointment and heartbreak. A Fukrey fan said, “Nooooo! How could you do this to me, Ali? I thought we had something special. You were my Choocha, and I was your Bholi Punjaban. Now you have broken my dil ka tukda. #AliRichaKiShaadi #NotMyChoocha” 

Another fangirl commented, “Ali, you betrayed me. You were the only reason I watched Mirzapur. Now you have gone and married that Richa. How could you? #AliRichaKiShaadi”. 

Some of the public reactions were also related to the popular web series Mirzapur. Someone, “Guddu Bhaiya ne shaadi kar li? Yeh bhi thik hai.”  Another one, “Ali aur Richa ki shaadi mein Mirzapur ka cast kahan tha?” 

 Ali looking at Richa and saying “kya bawaal cheez hai bey, saara system hil jaata hai!” is just woahhhhh!

Conclusion 

These are some of the top Bollywood weddings that shattered my dreams of being with my favourite stars. I know they are happy with their partners, but I can’t help feeling a pang of jealousy and sadness every time I see their wedding photos. But I also hope that someday, I will find my own Bollywood prince charming, who will make me forget all these heartbreaks. Until then, I will keep watching their movies and songs, and cry over their weddings.
