Since we are celebrating Pride month, we decided to talk about Influencers who are drool-worthy. Pride month is all about rainbows and celebrating love. We also found this on the internet. People sharing Wholesome memes, rainbows and making social media more inclusive and colorful. LGBTQ Influencers of India of the LGBTQ community are ones who are assuring that the internet is for everyone. There are some social media accounts that you will drool over. These accounts are not just making the internet a more inclusive place but also helping us in learning different aspects of the community. 

Here are some drool-worthy accounts:-

Priyanka Paul( art whoring)

Priyanka Paul is a content creator and self-taught writer and storyteller. She is also a poet and a well-known activist on social media. If you check out her social media you will drool over her account and also towards her beautiful hair. She has a great fan following and also achieves global recognition for her beautiful, amazing artwork which expresses a bold, progressive and edgy perspective towards women empowerment.

Rishi Raj( the chick maharani)

Rishi Raj is anti-caste and intersectional lgbtq+ activist, educator, and poet. He uses his online presence to educate people and his followers about different issues like the caste system and issues with which the queer community is going through. However, he is 19 years old and a tarot card reader. You will drool over his aesthetics and how great a fashion and beauty influencer he is! 

Durga Gawde (durgagawadestudio)

Durga is an artist, drag performer, and educator. They identify as a non-binary gender fluid person and have popularized gender-neutral fashion in India. They use the internet to make more people aware of gender fluidity. Durga always keeps on experimenting with fashion and make-up. So, if you are a fashion influencer you will drool over Durga’s Instagram account.

Alex Mathew (mayathedragqueen)

Alex is an Indian drag Queen influencer, actor, TEDx speaker, and singer. He is from Bangalore and uses social media to create awareness about the LGBTQ community. He keeps on sharing his experiences and struggles that amplify his activism. 

Anwesh Sahoo (anwesh.sahoo)

He is a motivational speaker, dancer, blogger, and actor. He was 20 years old when he won the prize for Mr. Gay World India in 2016. He is also a visual designer and TEDx speaker. Uses social media to create more awareness about the community and to showcase his art.  When we say you will drool over his account. We’re not kidding at all. Dr. Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju (trintrin)

Trinetra is a well-known Instagram influencer and you might have seen her videos while scrolling. She has a YouTube channel in which educates and aware people of sexuality, gender, and other such topics. She became the first trans woman surgeon in Karnataka. Doctor Trinetra has also collaborated with influencers like Srishti Dixit and Kusha Kapila to educate people about the LGBTQ+ community. 

She has also posted about covid help and about fundraisers, you can check that out in her story highlights.

Vqueeram Aditya Sahai (vqueer) 

Vikramaditya uses social media to take a firm stand towards LGBTQ issues and educate more people about the community. Aditya is a Professor at Ambedkar University and talks about gender equality, Mental Health. However, you can check out his story highlights to know more about mental health and politics. 

Ankit Dasgupta (ankitdasgupta)

Ankit lives in Pune and is a digital marketing specialist. He was a television strategist for a very popular network and also worked with journalist Faye D’Souza. Ankit uses social media to showcase his dance and his ideologies and experiences. Moreover, he educates his followers about the LGBTQ community. 

Vivek Shraya (vivekshraya)

Vivek Shraya is a model, actor, musician, author, and trans artist. She also works for creative writing at the University of Calgary in Canada. She is an author of the award-winning book called I am afraid of men. In the book, Vivek told how she was forced into masculinity and things that traumatized her. Vivek educates people and her followers about mental health, sexuality, and gender fluidity.

Therefore, these are some of the Instagram influencers who keep on creating such content that can educate more people about the struggles of the LGBTQ community.
