Sahabzade Irrfan Ali Khan

Born and brought up in the Pink city of India, the veteran Indian actor Irrfan Khan had his career spread over a span of 30 years. An awardee of the Padma Shri, National Film award, and many more significant honors, Irrfan khan died aged 53 of a colon infection in Mumbai. The actor was one of the finest in the Bollywood film industry. He had gained commendable recognition in the Hollywood film industry.

Hindi Medium cast Saba Qamar opposite Irrfan Khan as the couple from the Chandni Chowk area tried all hacks at getting their daughter the best education. It portrayed the language standards set by society to classify in the elite category. The movie was widely acclaimed for its plot writing, dramatics, role plays by the cast. It was the highest-grossing work of Irrfan, emerging as a sleeper hit of the industry.

Another comical movie by the actor, released in 2018, Karwaan was the penultimate of his works. Starring Mithila Palkar, the movie also marked the debut of Dulquer Salmaan. It received mixed reviews from critics who termed the acting by the cast as an absolute sweet garnished with words of praise. 

  1. Angrezi Medium 

Another of his bests, Angrezi medium stars Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor alongside Irrfan, it was his final movie released before demise. The film was released theatrically as well as re-released on Disney+Hotstar. A widower and his daughter portraying the middle-class dreams and lifestyle, this movie was a sequel to the Hindi Medium. The movie is a blend of emotions and has received a rating of 7.3 on IMDB. 

Rishi Raj Kapoor

The 2nd son of the Legendary actor and director Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, Rishi Raj Kapoor was a veteran actor, director, and producer from India. The actor’s first work came in his adolescent age in his father’s movie, Mera Naam Joker. After receiving the National Film Award for Best Child artist back then, Rishi never looked back as he went on to act as a romantic lead in 92 movies. The actor died after two long years battling cancer, aged 67 years. Some of his movies are listed below.

A masterpiece of acting, the 2018 release casts Amitabh Bachchan as the father of the veteran Rishi Kapoor who considers age as a factor to stop being jovial, unlike his father. The 102-year-old character by Amitabh and the 75-year-old character by Rishi Kapoor are the best Father-son duo ever. They highlight the most intricate details of living that we all miss in our struggle to get on with living. 

  1. Mulk 

The movie marking the versatility of the actor, Mulk portrays the mindset of Indian society for Muslim families and the ground reality. The movie has gathered a rating of 6.9 on IMDB, portraying Rishi Kapoor as a well-respected lawyer. The film sends a strong message of India’s Unity in Diversity as the basic form of faith of every Indian irrespective of caste, creed, religion.

A thriller mystery, the 2019 release film marked the last works of the veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor. An official remake of the 2012 Spanish movie with the same name, it portrays the actor as a policeman who is involved in the investigation of a murder case. It is another peck portraying the versatility of the actor.
