Saddened to know about the sudden demise of Satish Kaushik on March 8th 2023. He was an Indian film director, producer, and actor who worked in both Hindi and Punjabi cinema. He was born on April 13, 1956, in a small village called Mohindergarh in Haryana, India.

Kaushik began his career as an assistant director to Shekhar Kapur in the film “Masoom.” He has since acted in over 150 films and directed many successful movies, including “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja,” “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain,” and “Tere Naam.”

He also produced the critically acclaimed film “Tere Naam,” which was a box office success. Kaushik has won numerous awards for his work in the Indian film industry, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for “Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love.”

Kaushik was also known for his work in theatre, having directed and acted in many plays. He has also written a book titled “Aapka Bunti,” which is a collection of short stories.
